A Summer of Peace and Possibilities

Preparation and progress are underway at the NEW SOLID Training Facility! But before we share more about the Training Facility updates, let’s talk about our summer programs and outreach at SOLID!

SOLID Summer Tour

This summer, our students have been on the SOLID Summer Tour across New Jersey, exploring museums, meeting inspirational leaders, and, of course, skateboarding at some of the best skateparks New Jersey and NYC have to offer.

As our kids are returning to school, the feedback from their teachers is already one of recognition of their growth in leadership and maturity. One student shared with us, “My teachers are telling me how much I’ve matured and grown, and my brother even began skateboarding too and is following the same path I have with SOLID. It feels good.”

Community Outreach

In addition to the trips this summer, we spent time out in the community teaching skate lessons, hosting art workshops and letting our neighbors know the new SOLID Facility will be open soon!

It was an amazing summer making new friends, new opportunities and building community!
